Almon Inc.’s Basic Hydraulics off the shelf course is broken down into three separate modules. This three-part learning experience leads technicians through an easy-to-understand explanation of hydraulics as they apply to machines in the construction, agriculture, or outdoor power equipment industry.
Lesson one focuses on familiarizing technicians with hydraulic safety, hydraulic fundamentals, and components associated with hydraulics.
Lesson two continues by going into more detail and giving technicians an understanding of hydraulic circuits and hydraulic schematics.
Lesson three starts by defining some of the basic tools and components used when working with hydraulics and moves into a section on hydraulic troubleshooting that leads a technician through real-life scenarios.
Because of the involved nature of hydraulic systems, this course is not intended to replace advanced, instructor-led, hands-on training, rather it serves as a foundation for additional training.
A knowledge assessment upon completing the course will reinforce the information covered.
