Almon Inc.’s Shop Safety course is an off-the-shelf course that explores the basic concepts of shop safety including equipment, tools, and machine operation safety.
Technicians will come to understand the fundamentals of personal safety, the required safety documents required in a shop and the location for these documents. Also covered is the importance of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Also covered is the importance of proper storage techniques, lockout/tagout procedures, and what makes a safe work area.
A knowledge assessment upon completing the course will reinforce the information covered.
