Almon Inc.’s off the shelf Basic Hand Tools course was developed for technicians but is a great course for anyone interested in learning about basic hand tools used in the construction, agriculture, or outdoor power equipment industry. This course addresses the importance of using the right tool for the right job as well as the safe use of a variety of different tools.
Technicians are introduced to the different types of tools used, and needed, to perform their jobs successfully.
Tools used for layout, holding, turning, driving, cutting, and boring is discussed. We will also look at miscellaneous tools that a technician will find helpful while performing various duties throughout a normal workday.
This off the shelf course assumes that the technician has minimal knowledge of hand tools.
A knowledge assessment upon completing the course will reinforce the information covered.
