It’s an exciting honor to speak at the STC Summit 2019
Boasting a diverse mix of speakers, workshops, and exhibits from the technical communications industry, the 2019 STC Technical Communication Summit takes place in Colorado May 5-8 at the Hyatt Regency Denver At Colorado Convention Center. The Society for Technical Communication (STC) is the world’s oldest and largest professional association dedicated to the advancement of technical communication. Almon Inc. will be doing its part by presenting “Visual Media: Crossing Paths with Technical Publications” on Tuesday, May 7, from 10-11 a.m.
In our presentation we’ll cover how the industry evolved from hand-drawn illustration to virtual and augmented reality, how visual media plays a key role in how we learn, and how it enhances the world of technical publications. Our presentation is very visually focused with plenty of industry examples.
We’re excited to attend the educational sessions provided by our fellow industry insiders. This will be a great networking opportunity for Almon. Our Visual Media expert, Animator Keith Kamikawa, Owner and Vice President Aaron Montoure, and Organizational Development Manager Randee Napp will be in attendance to hear your stories, and to talk all things Almon.
